Save the Dates

I heard that Disney sends the Save the Dates via email? Is this true? I want to know for sure, because otherwise I will be purchasing in the next 2 weeks in order to send them out ASAP. We are planning a wishes wedding for February 2014. I want to make sure everyone has enough time to plan to come.

Does anyone have a picture of what these look like? Do people tend to send out their own save the dates in addition to the disney ones, or are the DFTW in place of our own save the dates? Thanks

I don't know anything about Disney sending out save the dates, I've never heard of that. I'm not a wishes bride though. However, I know most of the girls doing wishes weddings send out their own save the dates. So you'll probably want to do that. Hope that helps, and that someone with more experience can give you a better answer than I can.

Than you I had heard that they did email STDs with all the hotel information, booking, etc.

I'm having a wishes wedding in Jan. 2014 and they do send out email save the dates. Having said that, we got save the date magnets any way only because I don't want the Disney email to get lost in the shuffle and since it's a magnet they can always know when our big day is.

OP, I'd send out a hard copy for those folks who don't use their PC.

We're having a Wishes wedding in October and were told by our DFTW Coordinator that they do not do electronic STDs, contrary to what our Sales Associate told us. Granted, she hasn't been so great with getting the details right so far.

We didn't take the risk and bought some snazzy paper ones.

we had a wishes wedding in November of 2012, and they did not send out electronic STDs. We were told to use the DFTW Facebook app if we wanted to, as all of the info they used to capture via email would be on there (room discounts, tickets, etc). We did our own Save the Dates anyway, so it didn't matter to me. I'm curious about the ladies getting married in 2014 that said Disney is sending out STDs still, i wonder if they're going back to it?

I am having a wishes wedding in Nivemeber and haven't heard anything about the save the dates. I am going to be ordering my own pretty soon. Please let me know what everyone finds on the electronic save the dates
