Well, I knew coming up here would not be without something to fix...I will get to that later...
We stayed last night at the KOA on 192, and I thought we were paupers there. Man, almost every lot had the gucci coaches with 15 slideouts! I almost took my ol' lady coach and went back home, but I promised DS4 he could ride the monorails...
We got here this morning and ended up pulling in right next to MSJAXJAG. DH decided to give the body shop guys more work by running over the site post across the street. He wanted me to pull it out of the ground, but my formerly broken arm said, "Girl, you are going to pay dearly for pulling that out of the ground!" So, I withered in pain and continued to feel like the invalid I have been since Valentine's Day! DH eventually went around it and got in the space fine.
We talked to MSJAXJAG and her DH for a while and I picked his brain for ideas to secure my new mickey lamp post (under construction). He had a great idea with pvc pipe that had a very wide base. He deserves kudos! We finally took the bus (left the orange/blue cart at home this trip) and went to the MK. By that time, it was getting dark and trying to storm, but we just had to ride the monorail and peoplemover! (Yes, I taught DS4 the old name because it just fits better) We rode the peoplemover and the "indy" cars and had our coke floats! By that time, the first storm was almost upon us, so we scurried to Small World. By waiting in line (yes, it was REALLY CROWDED), we missed the first downpour. Then, we headed to Buzz Lightyear with fastpasses and missed the second storm's beginning. We decided, along with this younger couple with an infant, that we were going to ride the peoplemover until the storm passed, so we would get off and then back on. The rain finally stopped for a little bit.
We went and rode Pirates and Haunted Mansion and another storm was coming fast. This one was the worst one of the day because of all the lightning. We booked it to the monorail and rode it around the loop during the storm and decided to go and check out Fantasia, the new store in the Contemporary, while the downpour and lightning continued. We ended up stranded at the CR for quite a while because they stopped the boats and we couldn't get back for dinner until late.
Finally got a boat back to FW from CR and proceeded to walk back and found out that MSJAXJAG's sister is JAXPOOH. I ended up talking to her outside for a while and got my ankles eaten up by whatever insect enjoyed biting me. It was worth it! I am so happy that we will get to talk more this summer during the Grand Gathering.
We don't know what we are doing yet tomorrow, DS4 crashed, pretty much on his dinner plate. Got him cleaned up and he is zzzzzzz right now. He hasn't moved an inch, even with this new storm we have going on right now. (Direct TV is out from the rain) I didn't mind the rain and it was comical watching everyone crowd under the awnings from the people mover. I guess you would call it people watching from the people mover. I will post another report when we get back home tomorrow.
Here is the rain from today as shot from the peoplemover...

Here is DH and DS4 with their coke floats!

And finally, DS4 and me right b4 the downpour on the peoplemover!
