Small high school group in Anaheim for a music event this Saturday morning. When they are done at noon, they are heading to DL/CD until closing. Any advise on how to best use their time to get on maximum number of rides and minimize standing in lines? Most of the kids aten't that interested in watching parades or shows. I wanted to offer some suggestions, but not sure what to tell them. Supposedly the tickets bought for them includes Fast a Pass ( does that mean they still need to get fast pass tickets from machines?). I know DCA closes earlier than DL so will let them know that. Any advise is appreciated.:flower3:

Any ticket that can be used to enter DL or DCA can be used to obtain a FP. Yes, they will have to go to the FP machines for the ride of their choice to get the FPs. Disneyland enforce return times, so you have to keep and eye on when the window opens. Once a FP is obtained, you can get another one either when the time window of the current FP opens or two hours later, whichever is sooner.

Saturdays are busy at DLR, so I would go with the expectation of high crowds. There really isn't a lot they can do to minimize wait times. I would grab a FP as soon as you arrive for which ever thrill ride you want to ride the most (and has the longest line). It's worth noting that DCA and DL are "disconnected" meaning you can get a FP in DL and then get another one in DCA immediately afterwards. That can help if you plan to park hop and/or want to do thrill rides in both parks.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. :thumbsup2. I'm guessing many fast passes will be all gone by the time they get there on Saturday.
