Saturday night at Flower and Garden

I remember reading to stay away from Epcot on the weekends during Food and Wine. I'm trying to plan our Memorial Day weekend trip and am wondering if going to Epcot on a Saturday evening (during Flower and Garden) is a bad idea.

F&G can be incredibly crowded on the weekends, especially Saturday night, because a lot of locals will come on the weekend. If you go on a Saturday night, just be prepared for very large crowds in the World Showcase.
