Entered IoA around 3:30 yesterday afternoon and felt like a fish swimming upstream. I was very surprised by the number of people leaving the parks entirely. 10 minute wait for Ollivanders around 4 yesterday afternoon. 45 min wait for a table at Margaritaville around 6. No wait to enter US around 7:45. AP parade area was pretty much empty around 8:00 but filled-up as the parade started. Not the greatest place to take pictures. Parade route did not seem very crowded for this last parade. Got tons of beads.
Left Robin Thicke concert early as got tired of the pushy, middle-aged people who crowded in as the concert began. Not pleasant. Joined the throngs exiting the park. Had parked in preferred so exited easily. (Not sure if it was worth the extra $5 but didn't feel like taking any chances last night).
Arrived at US around 10 this morning. Parked on the 5th floor of ET. Busy but little wait for attractions and shows far from full. 10 minutes for Simpsons as we exited the park around noon. Lots of activity around the Diagon Alley area -- some of it seems contrived. Saw a woman in artfully paint-splattered jeans and bright sunglasses on a cherry picker/lift-thingy. Wasn't really doing anything. Train was running continuously back-and-forth between the two parks. No signs that the walls would be down anytime soon but all that you can see looks finished. Definitely took advantage of our refillable cups this time! Icees hit the spot in this heat!!
