SATs

So... who's taking the dreaded new SATs tomorrow morning?

I am. And SO not looking forward to them. It's an hour longer than it used to, they took off the analogies in the english section (which i was actually good at..) AND added an essay.

UGH. don't wanna take them.

I'm not taking them at all period because after high school I'm going to a 1-year chef training program and it doesn't even require that I graduate from high school -- so I don't need the SATs

Good luck! I think it's dumb that they've added an essay. I didn't have to take the SATs, just the ACTs.

Good luck, I took them last year in seventh grade and I got a 950, 500 on math and 450 on language. It's tough so the best of luck! Do good

I'd have to agree, that was the worst part was I stressed and I hope you have a good calculator that you know how to use, I had a TI-83 plus silver edition and I didn't know how to use it so learn.

Good luck! The SAT was not fun. So glad I'm done with the whole college process.

I just did it and I was completely stressed out. I seriously think that I didn't do that good in the math section.

2 of my friends are taking it tomorrow, but I'm not taking it until may. I took a practice SAT a month ago by princeton review, and the essay was so easy! I was good at the analogies too, but the essay was even simpler. I pulled most of my support from all the books I've read in english. Good luck!

I'm a senior so I took it last year, but my boyfriend is taking it tomorrow. I'm glad I got to take the old version...I probably wouldn't have trouble writing the essay, but I liked the analogies and such.

i took the old sats in decemer and i got an 1110, ut i tink taking out the analogies and adding a super esay persuasion essay will bump up my verbal grade and my verbal grade is pretty much all that i need work on. did antone take the acts plus writing? my guidance counselor told me to take lus writing ecause thats what colleges are looking for. i got a 23 on the normal act.

I took the SAT's...they're not that bad. I'm just not good on tests like that because i start daydreaming....I got a 940 and then a 990....but the college I got into doesn't require them....so no sweat there. And if you're a montana student going to attend the schools here (in Montana), it doesnt matter either...
