Sat Nav from Dollar

Hello,

I've hired sat nav with our hire car from Dollar - does anyone know if this will be programmed with the Disney Parks and Universal parks already or will add these myself? Should I take a list of addresses to enter?

You will need to add them yourself. However finding the parks without one isn't a problem as they are well signposted.

We had sat nav with Dollar and it was not programmed however it was really quick and easy to type in where we needed to go.Even we managed and that is saying a lot.

Just a note:

When you get the SatNav they will ask you to sign a separate form - this includes the agreement to pay $299 if the unit is lost or stolen and also "helpfully" points out that although CDW cover includes contents of the car it will be deemed to NOT include the SatNav !!

Needless to say we kept it locked in the room safe most of the time or lugged it around with us.

we found it was easier and cheaper to buy one here and download the orlando maps...
might be worth thinking about. Mpas cost about 3 pound

take the addresses with you to be on the safe side. we don't have a satnav at home and I found it easier to punch in the address in the end

Another odd thing: when you are near your destination, we were told to 'make a U turn'! God knows where she was sending us!
