I forgot all about making treat bags for Colin's class today. I'm usually not a last minute person but making them slipped my mind this year. I ran out this morning, bought cute little bags, candy, made labels, stuffed bags and now I just wait for the party.

We had a good night. Lots of candy (we didn't hand it out though-- we don't get enough kids in our darkened corner of the woods to make it worth missing going out with the boys.)

As I was walking down our sidewalk, I came across some punk kids stealing a solar light from my neighbor's yard. I told him to give it back, and he said "What, this?" Umm, yes dip****, that light in your greasy little mitts! (I didn't say that of course.)

Came out this morning on my 6 am trip to Kohl's (HELLO Super Saturday! I made out like a bandit there) to find another solar light smashed in the parking lot. Nice.

I cannot tell you how many times I've realized last minute that I have to bring/bake/buy something for Reece's school! Glad I'm not the only one! I am patting myself on the back for remembering yesterday that I have to bring in a pot of veggie beef soup & some muffins for a teacher luncheon on Monday. Who wants to come over & make it for me?

Came out this morning on my 6 am trip to Kohl's (HELLO Super Saturday! I made out like a bandit there) to find another solar light smashed in the parking lot. Nice.

I hope to be in your shoes soon. I just found out that the new shopping center under construction in our area has a Kohl's coming. We always get the commercials but don't have a store anywhere near here.

Glad the boys got a lot of loot! My boys made out like bandits, I think it has something to do with the popcorn and margaritas we were handing out. Word travels fast in our neighborhood!
