Happy hump day Sassies!
Shannon, can you go to the gym for me too? I need to buy both boys new pants, how could they be so short after only 2 months? Next year I'm not buying pants until they actually need them instead of in August for back to school.

That's what I do... Wait until the last minute when it gets cold. So he REALLY needed pants. As in, couldn't even snap the old ones.

Morning Tricia

Just got a live update from Disney 43 degrees last night. PADfam went in search of sweat shirts. Mickey's halloween party was brrrrrr.

I'd rather be cold in WDW than cold in Northern Virginia!

That sounds like a great way to add funds quickly. :thumbsup2 Hey I got my new pink camera yesterday. :woohoo: I like it but have to read up on everything it's suppose to do. I'll probably just leave it on Auto and let it do it's own thing.

Congrats on the camera! We fully expect to see lots of pics posted now. Especially the blurry, experimental ones.

Good morning, Sassies! I am home today with fever and chest cold - I am always telling the parents not to bring their little darlings if they have a fever, so I am following my own advice!

Shannon - thanks so much for the Tiki room video! It's the best!

Awww... thanks. (But you're lying like a politician-- those videos were terrible!)

Good morning, Sassies! I am feeling a bit better, but this thing has settled in my chest so I am sounding raspy and Kathleen Turneresque. Very sexy!

Speaking of Halloween, what are all the Sassy kids being this year? That's your QOTD! If you don't have kids, what costume would you wear if you were of a mind to wear one?

Glad you're feeling better. Don't you love sounding like a truck-driving Marlboro man? That happens to me every time I'm sick. It's sooo smexy, or so I am told.

Reece is going to be a viking, and Riley is going to be a pirate skeleton (who glows in the dark, and Riley insists he is a GHOST pirate skeleton.)

DH never wants to dress up, so we're going as a stressed-out computer engineer and his very zen, SAHM wife.

Still Hunk Day

:teeth:

Man. Those guys were no where to be found when I was young, single, and in Ohio! Ohio: Not known for tan, ripped cowboys!

Busy errand day today, but I promised Riley we'd log some serious time with the Legos. After school, Reece & I are watching the new Tinkerbell movie. DH brought it home as a surprise for me yesterday! I'll let you know how it is...

Have a great day everyone. Judi, hope you get those retainers STAT.

Let the party begin!!!

Mr. Judi sews, SO, no giant slit, no low neckline and the fishnets are in the panty variety, so no garterbelt. NO RED HAIR!! :rotfl2:

She can date when she is 35 ;)

Happy Halloween Eve everybody! No costumes for us-Mr. Angie is just like Shannon's DH: he hates dressing up. Plus we're not going anywhere anyway. I like to dress up, but I'm totally uncreative in that department. I can never think of anything cool!

Becca~love the Elphaba idea!! I downloaded that CD and have been listening to it again. Those songs really stick in your head. I heard a rumor that they might make it into a movie. I hope they choose Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel if they do!

Judi~Mr. Judi sews? Can I send him a box of stuff I have that needs sewing or mending? ;) I don't have a sewing machine and barely know how to use one anyway, so I take everything to my mom.

Wilma~glad you're feeling a little better! I always like to sing when my voice is like that-I feel like a sexy jazz singer!

Shannon~I've heard that stressed out computer engineers and zen SAHMs are some of the most popular costumes this year! You're so in! :thumbsup2

Tricia~no trick or treating? Are you sad? I think it would be kinda sad when your kids don't want to trick or treat anymore...your babies are growing up.

I think we're going to have to threaten to send Shannon over to beat Bonnie up if she keeps ignoring us!

Hi everyone. I'm back. I've been so busy that I haven't had much time to spend online. Then when I go looking for this thread I get distracted reading all the other stuff on the community board.

Becca- I can't believe you did Zoo Boo. Its way to cold for me. I have my heat cranked up to 72 since we are now burning wood. No more huge propane bills and freezing with our heat set to 64 all day.

My boys are going to be Indiana Jones and Ron Weasley for Halloween. My oldest has been growing out his hair for the last 6 months in preperation for being Ron. He already has redish hair and some freckles. They went to a Halloween party last weekend at school, and there were a lot of Indiana Jones's. I want to be Sorcerer Mickey using the light up hat from Disney, and the Mickey hands and my red bath robe. I feel a little strange going out in my bath robe so I probably won't.

 Ohhhh be still my heart, just got through looking at the pics for hunk day. Got the ole ticker jumping so hard thought I would pass out. Hmmmm then I would have to call the fire boys in.:yay:
Leaving early in the morn for WDW ohhh where is Bon, missed her.
Hope that everyone has a great Halloween and you know what my DD also through her retainer away in school. KIDS got to love them. Just paid $2.18 for gas. Shirley

I just have to say you all suck! We're still paying $2.65 per gallon for gas. What was everybody's highest? Ours was around $4.15 per gallon.

Shirley, ya'll have a wonderful trip. :woohoo:
Gas this evening $2.359 Angie we were up at $4.189 in April/May.

Mr. Judi filled his tank for less than $40.

Julie, how did puppy class go? If it works, I'll sign Mr. Judi up. ;)

Hey Judi! So far so good. He was all about figuring out what to do for his rewards. They even gave him a pacifier -- rawhide bone swirled in peanut butter!! He was so exhausted that we didn't hear a peep from him the whole 1 hour home!!!! I'll keep you posted.

As far as gas prices, I thought 2.58 was good!! You know, we should be furious at how easy all of a sudden it could drop, when before there was nothing that could be done.... The bunch of money grubbin' thugs....

Wilma as soon as I read hippo in a costume I thought of a childhood favoirite show of mine. Anyone remember The New Zoo Revue? The hippo always had a scarf in her hand waving it around like a southern belle. Ahhh the memories.

My kids aren't dressing up this year. Well Kendall went as Tinkerbelle to her school Halloween Dance and Colin is being a football player tomorrow for his school party. He can only dress up like a character from a storybook and he must bring the book to school. Kelsie's boyfriend plays football for a rival school and you guessed it they play each other tomorrow night. I asked Colin what he would rather do, go trick or treating or go to the football game and he chose the football game. He's my kid that doesn't really like candy much. No he doesn't take after me in that category. So I told him I'd take him to buy a few thing on Saturday to make up for the mass of candy he's missing out on.

Judi I'm down 1 pound this week.

The New Zoo Revue was awesome! Wasn't there a big frog on it too? I think he was friends with the Hippo. I always coveted her eyelashes. I remember she had a quaint a cozy kitchen, too. And didn't she have a gazebo she danced around in? I always wanted a gazebo!

Hooray for Atlas! BamBam and I were in Petsmart tonight buying new gravel for Popeye the Meantime Pet and guess what was happening? Puppy class! We thought of Atlas - I am sure he will be at the top of his class! It's good to be so motivated by treats - it makes them so much easier to train!

Good Morning Sassies!

Can I just tell you that I was freezing last night. Kendall had her last football game she had to cheer for and it was in the 40's. I know I'm a wuss but I had capri's on so my ankles were cold and of course no socks on. Not to worry because I brought a blanket so all was good. :rotfl:

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, Sassies! Judi - what's up with being awake at 3:27? Did you wake Atlas up to keep you company?

My twelve little goblins are arriving at school in costume today. This means that by a quarter past nine, approximately 10 of them will be completely freaked out by the sight of their classmates:upsidedow . While they are often happy to wear their costume, it never occurred to them that others would want to wear one too! The joys of being 2!

The alpha moms at BamBam's school are throwing a halloween party for the class but have quietly kept the party's start time to themselves.:confused3 I hope I guess right and get there in time to help him with his costume!

Have a great Halloween, everyone! Remember to save the candy that you like best and put it at the bottom of the bowl!

My kids have no school today, but do you think they slept in? No, they were up at 5:30! They will be so tired tonight because I know a nap will not go over well.

Wilma, have fun with your crazy costumed 2 year olds! Just don't get them too sugared up or you'll really have a fiesta! Why are some moms like that? I mean its a kids halloween party after all!

I love that statement! :rotfl: I only buy the candy that we like. I hated as a kid getting sucky candy so I said I'd never do that. This year I won't have Colin and Kendall's bag to dig through so my hips and thighs are thanking me.

Good Morning
Again

Guess what showed up on my computer at 5:15am Malware/2009

Just got it fixed, I hope. Photobucket/Thankgiving/pg. 4. Just so ya know

The funniest part yada, yada, yada, before your computer creahes. Yes you read that right. :teeth: It doesn't creahes it freezes.

My advice is to download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Download link, cause once you get it, downloading is near impossible.

Cole laughed this morning, "It wasn't me this time" Cute kid.

;)
