Another question.

If you want your room to be in a specific area do you ring or email Saratoga? Can you please let me know the tel no or email you use. Would you suggest about two weeks before to ask them??

Where would you recommend/like.

We have a hire car so not that bothered about being near to the reception area.

Do not want to be in the area where the new pool is being built.

Have read alot of people like at least 1st floor.

Also would be handy near a swimming pool for the children in the evening, so do not get back wet into the car :lmao:

Your thoughts :flower3:

Both times I stayed at Saratoga I requested a room in the Granstand building 8501 to 8836. Both times I got exactly what I asked for. One year I had room 8507 which was on ground floor (they call this 1st floor) and another time I had 8745 which was on 2nd floor. Just call reservations and ask them to put the request on your reservation. The Grandstand has its own pool which is lovely. There are some other Granstand building which aren't as close so be specific. Also, very close to main building which is good.

It has been reported and also confirmed by some CMs on the boards here that the best way to up your chances is to have it added as a request to your booking. So if you booked through Disney UK, all the better. I have a request on mine and it has shown on all my invoices at the bottom.

If you want to, you can fax but no sooner than 10 days before check in as all reservation info is held by the Disney CRO and gets passed to the resort 10 days prior to your arrival date. Hence the reason why online check in can only be done 10 days out. The general consensus is that if it is busy it is just one more piece of paper to get buried under a thousand others.

Once you get there you can ask before they assign your room when you check in. Ask them to show you on the resort map where it is. If you are not happy, ask them, with a big smile, if they have something else and say what you would prefer, but try not to put too many "demands" on your request.

I am about to post a question about online check in so feel free to jump on board and ask your own on there if you need to. :goodvibes

Were going to request Congress Park so we can be closet to Downtown Disney and still clsoe to the foodcourt etc (also hoping we can view of DTD from our balcony!). If your driving to the parks it doesnt really matter though, I have read the furthest distance to the main pool from anywhere in the hotel is only 10 mins so I wouldnt worry too much.

Like 2tiggies said I would just add the request to your reservation booking :thumbsup2

We have also just rang and requested through disney UK when I booked magic Express I really hope we get it this year I loved being in Congress Park and just really hope we get a balcony

Is this the same advice for OKW? We would love to stay in the same room (or block!) we were in last year :goodvibes
