Saratoga Springs to MK and AK, what are the stops along the way?

First time staying on site without a rental car and have a few ???s about Saratoga Spring bus schedule to MK and AK.
1)What are the stops along the way? Thinking about scheduling an ADR at Maya Grill, I think it is one of the stops on the way to AK.
2)Where do you catch buses at SS? Any tips about where to request room close to bus stops (hoping to be close to Downtown Disney),
3)Which of the other resorts can you get to without a transfer?
4)How much time from SS to MK and AK?
5)How much time from SS to Contemporary/Concourse Steakhouse?

We've stayed at SSR twice - June of 2005 and December of 2005. We never stopped at any other resorts on the way to or from any of the parks. We always just stopped at the other SSR bus stops. No stops at Coronado Springs or any other resorts.

As for a room near the bus stop and Downtown Disney, I'd request a room in the Congress Park section near the bus stop.

I honestly don't remember the time to the MK or AK, we tend not to really pay attention. We just get on the bus and get off when it stops. I'm guessing may 15 minutes or so . . .

I'd allow at least an hour to get to the restaurants at the Contemporary, just to be safe. You'll have to take the bus to the MK and then either walk or take the monorail to the Contemporary.

By the way, we love SSR! It's one of our absolute favorites, and they have what I think is absolutely the number one pool area for little ones in all of Disney World. Plus, we love the food at Artist Pallette, definately a step up from most of the resort food courts!
