Will the boats be running early enough to take them to go to breakfast at a surrounding resort? If so, which resorts could you get to by boat from Saratoga Springs? Otherwise, any easy to get to sit-down breakfasts from SSR that don't require park tickets?

Oh, and a 2:30pm flight departure will pick up at the resort at what time? Is it before noon?

The only other resorts that you can get to by boat are Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter.

You can take busses to any of the resorts for breakfast. But, if you have a 2:30 flight, you will be picked up from your resort at 11:30 AM. You should be at least 15 minutes early. Not leaving a lot of time for a leisurely breakfast at another resort.

Actually from SSR the only places you can go is OKW ( I believe) and DTD. I don't think that they start running until around 10 or 11 am.

The only destination reachable directly by boat from SSR is DTD PI.

At DTD PI, you could catch a different boat to OKW. You could also walk from PI to Marketplace (or ride another boat there), and catch a boat from Marketplace to PO FQ & Riverside.

DTD boat service starts at 10 a.m., so it would be a late breakfast.

ME schedules pickups approximately 3 hours before the flight so figure around 11:30. The day before you leave you'll receive the paperwork from ME and the time listed is when the bus leavesyour resort. It is recommended that you be at the bus stop 15 minutes before that time so you don't miss it. If you have any carry ons stored with bell services allow additional time to retrieve those and for any last minute bathroom stops.

Taking the boat won't work because you'll have to have an early breakfast. Maybe take a taxi.

Since your departure time from the resort will be 11:30 am and the boats don't start running until 10:00 am, your best bet is to walk over to DTD and have breakfast at WPE or EOS.

I did the Olivia's breakfast last year and it took me forever to get back to POR. I just made it back with about 50 minutes to kill.

The best way to get to breakfast from there would be to go to DTD and catch a bus to that resort. Or play a game of bus hopping and get on a bus from your hotel to one of the parks then get in line for a bus to whatever resort you are wanting to eat breakfast at. Sometimes it seems like a long way to do things but it is usually faster (and cheaper) than taking a cab or driving to the resort.

The very basic problem with using DTD as a transfer point to the other resorts at this time of day is that the buses running to resorts aren't all that frequent. The buses to DTD, from resorts, start running frequently around 9-9:30..the stores open around 9:30-10, so no need for buses much earlier than that.
So....if you want to go to BW, YC/BC or S/D for early breakfast, take an early bus to DHS..they start around 6:30. Then walk to the resort...takes about 15-20 mins depending on pace.
You want to eat at the GF? Or CR or Polynesian?? Bus to MK and then monorail or boat to the resort.
