Saratoga Springs-Room Suggestion Pls

I have a Deluxe Studio reserved at SSR. I'm looking for room suggestions that offer a decent view, are close to the main building and close to transportation. I would like a 2nd floor
I've started looking at rooms via Touring Plans but was getting overwhelmed.

Also...I noticed my booking says "Soaker tub". However, all Youtube videos of a Deluxe Studio show a normal tub. Any idea how or if I can request a soaker tub?

Do you have a Preferred Location or Standard Location reserved?

The Preferred Locations are in The Springs and Congress Park.
The Standard Locations are in The Grandstand, Paddock and Carousel.

I would suggest a room in the Grandstand section- you could request buildings 6 (8501-8836) or 15 (8101-8436). Both are close to main building (less than 5 min walk) and a bus stop. They are also next to the Grandstand pool. Both have rooms with beautiful views of the golf course. All the buildings in the Grandstand section are Standard location.

I generally request "near pool, upper floor." That tends to eliminate carousel, and puts you eitehr in Grandstand in one of the buildings closer to the pool, or Paddock close to the walking path across the pond. Both are easy walks to the central resort services.

If you have kids, I'd request paddock near pool, has a slide and a great kids play area, its not a bad walk to the main building.

Oh and the pool has food too, like actual food not just some snacks like grandstand.

The Pro Shop and Check in are attached to the Carriage House. Close to where you catch the boat to Disney Springs. You can also find a "hidden" quick service here Chip N Dales Cafe! Easy walk from the Grandstand Section or The Springs.

Thank you! I've been looking at maps and it seems like the springs is the closest, but no good room views there, I'd rather stay in the grandstand from what yall are saying and im glad to hear that section is close!

The Springs is a preferred room location, along with Congress Park.

We usually request Paddock 4501-5436 (first two buildings) but it’s not as close to the main building as some of the others. We like it because the Springs stop is right there (second stop on route) and the Paddock pool is nice and also has a pretty good snack bar.

If you were on the bus yes. Or you can take the short walk to the lobby. And if you want, you can also just get on the bus stop there at the Carriage House (the Springs) and off you go! I've been told that the bus gets crowded sometimes before it reaches the carriage house. I did not notice this when we were there in December, always plenty of room on the bus. In all honesty, the bus loop is not as terrible as most make it out to be. We boarded at Grandstand and we're on our way to MK in under 15 mins. We got on the bus by 7am and were inside MK at 7:25am lol Granted, I did not experience any scooters getting on during our stay, those could slow the process a bit.

I find it interesting that the two last stops are the Preferred buildings, which are more points. I use a scooter and was looking for being close to the first or second bus stop, which I'd mistakenly assumed would come with the Preferred locations. But then a PP here suggested that lack of space on buses for scooters at later bus stops isn't as much of a problem at SSR so we'll see.
