Did you all see this 20% off on selected services new perk in the Vacation Magic magazine? I called them up and found out which services:

swedish massage; mystical forest massage (reflexology/swedish); aromatherapy facial; mystical forest body wrap and mask; hydrotherapy of your choice; mani; pedi; DVC package (aromatherapy facial, hydro of choice, mystical forest wrap and mystical forest massage)

Have any of you tried any of these yet?

Also I asked if they had a web site so I could read more about the services and figure out the price, and that link is:
http://www.relaxedyet.com/saratoga_services.shtml

Cheers :)

P.S. I called them up and asked on the package deal could I substitute the Gentleman's facial instead of the aromatherapy facial for DH, since I doubted he would want to come out "smelling like a rose," and they said yes. I also found out you can order lunch from Saratoga Springs' Artist Palette to be served in the spa lounge if you're making a day of it. The prices have me freaked out, but that's what I get for hooking DH on home spa treatments -- now he's interested! I did find out they only have one hydrotherapy room, so if you book two packages, you can't both have the treatments in the same order.

20% off sounds great, but I went to the link of prices and they're a little steep. It would nice to hear from people who have had treatments to see if they're the extra money(even with the discount).

I had the mystical wrap and massage on 9-2-04 before leaving because ofHurricane Frances. For both services, the price was $196.00 with the DVC discount.

I really liked the body wrap. At the time, I was really uptight because of the impending hurricane, so I don't know if you should judge by my thoughts :D

We had only been on vacation for 1 day before we decided leaving would be in our or should I say my best interest (DH wanted to ride out the hurricane); so I was uptight when I got the services.

Myself and 2 friends will be trying out the massages at SSR in November...don't know what our dh's will do without us! I was given the massage as a gift for planning a friend's Disney vacation...they even paid the gratuity! I guess the discount will not be of any benefit on this trip. I would never have done the massage if it were not a gift, simply because there seems to be so many other things I would rather do with my time at WDW, but I bet I will enjoy it.

I do recall reading in the Vacation Magic that the discount only applies if you are also staying at SSR.

We were at SSR in July for a couple of Drum Corp shows at the Citrus Bowl. Since we are AP holders, we hardly stepped foot in the parks because it was so hot.

The 2 of us gals on the trip decided to try out SSR spa and we had the stone massages done. We were literally "puddles" by the end of our treatment. It was SO relaxing there and the guys loved the workout room! We thought the staff was very attentive and professional

We will definately be saving our $$ so that we can do it again.

My girlfriend loves the spa at the GF, and cannot wait to try out the spa at SSR. And, according to her, the treatments are worth every penny. Plus, you are on vacation, so if you can't spoil yourself, why go?

I was interested in the stone massage, but it isn't on the list of discounts. We are definitely going to make time to try out their workout room... and the pool since the main OKW pool will be under rehab during our trip.
We are looking forward to it!

I don't think this is the case. My girlfriend just came back from BWV yesterday and she took advantage of the 20% discount at SSR!

I am a DVC member and I did get the discount on the service in July. My girlfriend, who is NOT a member did not. I don't know if the stone massage is still included in the discount, but when I booked it, the gentleman that took my reservation reminded me to bring my DVC card.

I just booked a swedish massage for my mom & I and MF Pedicure & Mannicure for my daughter. All they asked was if we were DVC members and to remember to bring our card

The services I listed at the top of this thread are the current discounts, straight from a phone call to the spa. They knew I was booking for October, so presumably those are the ones good in October too! :)

Please post and let us know if they discount the kids' mani/pedi, as on the phone they told me it was only the adult ones that were discounted. I would be interested to know if they offer more services than they stated at the discount.
