Saratoga Spring Room Entry

Hi - hope someone can help. Does the Saratoga Springs Resort have indoor or outside access to your room? Do you enter a hallway or is it like a Coronado Springs where you access from the outside? Please help????

We stayed in a 1BR in the Paddock section and our room had outdoor access. It is covered, though.

Are you talking about your front door or balcony?

SSR does not have indoor halls, the doors open to the outside like at Coronado Springs.

At OKW and SSR, villas are not on both sides of the corridor. So the corridors are open air.

Entry door opens to outside but villa buildings are not in straight-line

pattern/rectangle like pattern that you will find at

Coronado Springs, POR, etc. See this link for exterior photos of SSR;

you can see the main entrance area to some of the buildings where

access to villas then branches off from ( like in Congress Park photos Exterior II, IV and V photos )

If your room is in front of the building, your door will outside under cover. If your room is further in the building, you are entering from "inside" hallways.
It is not all outside doorways like OKW.

The door to your room will be on the outside. You get to them via covered, open-air walkways, kind of like an apartment building.

I agree with this assessment. The rooms that run along the backside of the building have a the entry door on that face the parking lot. Those are most open to the outside. The hallways that run down the sides and front of each bldg are enclosed with rooms on each side and a ceiling overhead. Each end of the building has a stairwell with cut out windows. They are open air but far from a covered walkway with open sides.

And having stayed at CSR, I think that SSR is more enclosed. All doors at CSR open to the rail of the corridor. SSR has interior walkways with walls on each side.
