Just checking, but I think that I am pretty sure about the answer.

Without a car, the Springs section of SSR is the best to request? Is it any closer to a bus stop than the other sections, or just closer to the Check-in, etc.?

There are multiple bus stops throughout SSR. The Springs is the closest section to the main pool and the Carriage House.

The newest section to open, The Grand Stand, is on equal footing to the check-in lobby. So if closeness to the lobby is your prefered location, choose the Springs or the first two buildings of the Grand Stand section.
