Expectations are so low, it is virtually guaranteed that Palin will win the debate tomorrow. If I could, I would bet on it. I think Biden will probably say something stupid, which the media will jump on. Palin will have canned responses for all possible questions, including generic answers to questions she doesn't understand. Also, she'll make sure to speak in complete, if not gramatically correct, sentences.

I think no matter how anyone treats her, she'll be the sad, little damsel in distress and all the big boys are being mean and picking on her. She can't possibly win, but Biden could definitely lose by beating himself. I don't think she should be treated with kid gloves, because the rest of the world sure won't. If she can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. I think if Biden takes it easy on her, he's being sexist. I think if he comes at her directly, he'll be considered mean and condescending. Again, she can't win, but he could lose. He's in a no win situation now and it's a shame that she'll get lots of pity votes.

Every interview she has done since the convention has been a disgrace on her part. She has no choice but to do better this time around. A lot of the FOX news analysts says that she must not come off as a fact and number robot, but try to be herself and connect with the American people. Let's see if her camp will allow this. I tend to agree with this. I don't think Palin will be able to win, but its definitely possible for Biden to lose... especially given the low expectations on Palin going in.

I think you're right... It certainly worked that way for Obama in his first debate with McCain. The media pundits said he "won" simply because he didn't go out there an embarrass himself in a debate surrounding an area that is a weakness of his: foreign policy.
