Hello Everyone!

Due to some disasters on our wedding trip, and the fact that life has been a little more than fraught over the last few months, I have planned, booked and prepared for a secret (from DH) second honeymoon trip to DLP!

We are staying in the DL Hotel and I am so excited, from Dec 27th to 30th. I cannot wait!

Anyway, thanks to the help on this board (restaurant reviews and telephone number help!) I have just booked and we will be eating at...

popcorn:: Blue Lagoon (I know how much DH loved Pirates of the Caribbean and so even if I hate the food, he will be happy!

popcorn:: Auberge de Cendrillon ~ I think eating in a castle like setting is essential :)

popcorn:: California Grill (DH loved this one in Florida this Summer and so I hope he enjoys this one too!)

popcorn:: Cafe Mickey (We ate here on our first vacation in 2002)

popcorn:: Walt's (The idea of missing this one out scares me ;))

So that's all I have so far. I'm a little worried about the getting there ~ I have had a schedule of my travel plans emailed to me by Disney but no e-tickets or anything. Is that normal? Also, how will they know I have paid to be on the Disney shuttle and where do I meet it at C de G? It all seemed to simple in 2002 but I cannot remember at all what we did!

Anyway, I will update as I think of more things ~ I am still thinking how to break it to him on Boxing day ;)

Lovely plan :goodvibes , sounds like a great trip :)

Thank you :) Is there anything you recommend that we do? And I must ask ~ where do I get the hot chocolate from? :) I looooove hot chocolate and the thought of Disney and hot chocolate is too much, ha ha.

Is it England-cold there at the moment, or warmer? I want to be prepared! :) You looked so snug in your scarf!

I am definately getting doggy ears, my boys have elf ears at the moment. I am sure they would love Mickey ears to go with their pluto bandanas ;)

I found it milder than here - but maybe I was just lucky! You can get hot chocolate from any of the counter service places I think, we always used to get ourselves from main street deli and the little coffee place on main street when we were waiting to watch the parades :goodvibes .

The doggy mickey ears can be bought in the emporium store on Main Street :) .

It's so pretty you will have a lovely time :goodvibes. Make use of the arcades on either side of Main Street, they are covered (great in bad weather). They have tables and chairs to rest your feet and are rarely busy and are great to cut down Main Street for when its really busy with parades/character express etc.

Thank you! :)

I will definately take your advice :) I cannot wait ~ only 19 days to go!!!

Great plan! Hot Choc is essential in this cold weather. It's the same sort of weather as in UK but when you're standing outside for long it can get cold :cold:

It'll probably be very busy there but you'll still have a wonderful time :)

Maybe the hoardes of people will keep me warmer, haha. I hope they don't knock my hot chocolate over! ;)

I'll take my coat of course but I didn't know if I needed extra jumpers and so on. I can cope easily with cold English weather, I wondered if it was worse in Paris this time of year as in Feb when I've been before it was FREEZING!
