Santa rocks, and Mom gets none of the credit

Santa, being the wonderful, amazing jolly old elf that he is, is bringing DS a Gameboy Advance this year. Mommy is just hoping that she taught DS to share well enough that she might get to play with it! Ah well, at least I'll get my regular Gameboy back now.

And do you have any idea how hard it is to get a 36 pound ping pong table in a box, in the garage, on the other side of the car, all the way into the house and assembled quietly in the room right next to where your DS is sleeping??? If I weren't on antibiotics right now for the throat infection that *I* got for Christmas (grumble) I'd be having a beer or three right now.

DS became enamored with ping pong on our cruise in February... all that stuff going on, and he wanted to play ping pong all the time!! And it's all he talks about in looking forward to our upcoming cruise, so this should make him pretty happy.

Sad thing is, Mommy gets *no* credit for any of this!! Ah, the joys of being a parent... I've got the camera ready for the look on his face.

LOL!! I know, am I an idiot, or what?? And I'm the one who's going to have to play with him all the time! Hmmm.... I saw a cat that played ping pong on stupid pet tricks one time... wonder if I can teach mine to do that.

Gina, when I was a kid, we had the type of table that 1/2-flipped up and, you could play against yourself. Ahh, the good ole days!

LOL!! That sounds like alot of fun! This year Santa is bringing a few gifts and a few gifts are from mom and dad. Since I did all of the shopping, I thought I'd deserved a little credit! Enjoy!!

Santa brings the littler stuff at our house. That's the way I grew up and my main goal was to put less emphasis on Santa and more on giving to each other - but I suppose it's kind of nice to get the "credit"!.
