"Santa" called and he has a message for all of you..

I do family gift baskets for about $20.00, usually less. I buy a dvd $10.00 or less. I then buy spaghetti, sauce, popcorn, hot chocolate, and a box of brownies. Wrap it all up in a basket bag from the dollar store and I have a great gift on a tight budget.

This year I have varied it a tad bit...I found board games at a discount and used that instead of the dvd.

You could do the same with a book. :santa:

I would like a mug from Starbucks please. I just saw a beautiful one this evening and had to exercise great restraint not to buy it.

Okay I give the odd answer.

I want Voltron Volume 7 and 8 DVDs. Go-Lion Volume 3 DVD. Yes they is under 20.00 dollars.

Im a small appliance collector..not to be confused with a small appliance "user".

Most Black Fridays, I pick up a new appliance or 3!

After one use, they are carefully set on a shelf in my pantry closet. Over the years, I have collected a Fondue set, a WOK, a bread making machine, an electric griddle, about 4 crockpots, all different sizes, a waffle iron, kitchen aid mixer, quesidilla maker, egg poacher, G Foreman grill, panini maker etc..etc...

This year, I saw in the JC Penney Black Friday AD a Dual Ceramic Food Warmer for $14.88!!! :woohoo: Im sure if I have this, I will make more gourmet side dishes and put them in the warmer, instead of just the regular frozen veggies thrown into a bowl with a spoon.

:idea:For just a little more..$34... I can also get the dual crockpots, side by side, in one unit...much easier than plugging in 2 of the crockpots I already have.

And before anyone asks...no, I dont own any cats.

Wow! Can I hire you to do my Christmas shopping?

I also like the idea of the coffee mug and the idea of the gift basket.

Pampered Chef gift certificate.

However if Santa hosted a party and got himself a great discount I'd just take
a large stoneware bar pan ;)

Hmmm.... I think I'd love a Panera gift card - my favorite place to eat.

Any gift card I suppose... I just love to shop! :)

Well, first thing that came to mind was "I would like C.Ann and I to go out for coffee/soda/tea and maybe a piece of pie. We could sit and people-watch, share Disney memories, then maybe go wander around a few stores and do some window shopping. A lovely girls' night out!"

But then I factored in the cost of the airline tickets for you and I to meet up somewhere, and came in WELL over $20. Drat.

So instead, how about Libera's greatest hits CD? I keep meaning to order it for myself, but never have yet...

Tyler Florence's Dinner at My Place cookbook......

or he could just bring Tyler himself, Santa's choice

$20 Barnes And Noble giftcard :3

Definitely (see my tag). My MIL is the best, every year I get a $50 gift card to Borders or Barnes and Noble. It is so much fun to pick out one or two books that I really want but would feel guilty spending so much money on (mostly "coffee table" type books that are so costly).

smartwool socks
gift card to Williams-Sonoma
subscription to Our State magazine
silpada jewelry gift card
snugglie!

Dear Santa,

I understand that times are tough this year. If you can spare $20, please make a donation in my name to Heifer.org and purchase a flock of chicks to give to someone. It will truly be the gift that keeps on giving.

If you have $25 to spend, buy me a gift certificate to kiva.org. I can help fund a small business in a third world country and if the owner is successful, I will be paid back and can re-invest in a new enterprise. I can also track the success of the investment online.

Thanks, Santa. You are the man!

I would like a set of different kinds of jellies in those little jars.

(I probably WILL buy this for one of my "Merry Christmas To Me" gifts. I like them.:)

Lipsticks and an eyeliner from Wal Mart. For $20 , I could get 3 lipsticks and an eyeliner.

I just recently got their catalouge and I think I fell in love. What a wonderful organization!

Santa- that is what I want too. :)

Actually, Santa can skip my house entirely and just put the budget towards a deserving sick child in a hospital. I get less gifts every year and find I really don't miss them at all. Christmas is not about the gifts for me.
