Is Santa anywhere at Disney during December? If so, how bad is the line for him? We will be in the World Dec 14-20. First time ever going during the Christmas season. :thumbsup2

Does it tend to get very crowded? I was also wondering if you can take photos with your own camera? (I ask since most places such as malls will not let you.)

We did Epcot with mr and mrs clause the first week of December last year, hardly any wait and yes you can use your camera.

We also met the most wonderful one in the Magic Kingdom on the left as you come in between package pickup and Guest Relations. Mr & Mrs Claus are a wonderful picture. Both of these has short lines. Our wait for the one in DTD was quite long.

Yes, you can take your own photos!

Love the Santa and Mrs. Claus at Epcot. Have several pics of them with my kids over the years. They are so sweet! Lines not too bad at all.

When do they arrive? I'm sure it's wishful thinking that Santa would be out next week...

yes he is very much part of the Christmas season festivities! i will be going december 17th-21st!! (will be there same time lol)

but yes like others have said they are great in disney and lines aren't too long, he also appears in the christmas parade!

Santa does get around quite a bit at WDW! Don't forget that his friends from other countries are at EPCOT as well and they are worth a look.

Canada has the lumberjack santa, Mexico has the Three Kings, Father Christmas in UK, Monkey King in China - the list goes on.

There is a super fun Hawaiian themed Santa meet and greet in between the swan and dolphin. No long lines too bc I don't think he is well advertised. I would call the S or D to inquire about his hours.

Yay!!! Glad to hear the lines are not too long. :thumbsup2 Thank you everyone!

Never even thought about the different Santas in the countries at Epcot. Do they have one for Germany?

Since Christmas there and Christmas here are very similar (they did give us the tree idea and all!), I think they only have a storyteller. Some countries just have stories: China, Morocco, Japan, Mexico and and the Canada. But you can buy a pickle ornament, bird ornaments and a advent calendar there!

Just so you know the "santa's" in the world showcase do presentations, you cannot go and visit them like the American Santa. :)
