Anyone have a good sangria recipe they would like to share. I miss the sangra for HDD

i know that this is not the one you are looking for, but we have made this kind and it is just delicious......

Grape Juice and Fruit Sangria

2qts. (8c) grape juice
2 lemons
4 limes, cut into wedges
2 oranges, thinly sliced,slices halved
2 1/2 c. lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage, chilled
4 cups ice cubes

In a 3qt. nonmetal container, combine grape juice and fruit, slightly squeezing lemon and lime and orange into the juice mixture. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. Just before serving, pour mixture into punch bowl; add carbonated beverage and icecubes, stirring to combine.

Serves 12(1 cup) servings

haven't tried this one, but as soon as I can find a sangria container (you know, like the plastic sun tea jugs with a spigot...can't find one anywhere!), we're giving it a try! the classic not summer:

hi
have a friend who comes from spain, who laughs at our endeavours to make sangria, she says all they do is put equal bottles of fanta and 7-up in a large jug/bowl with a bottle of red "plonk" and throw in a few orange and lemon slics and put it in the frig for a couple of hours!

Here is the recipe from a local restaurant that we love to frequent in Clearwater. I'll admit to knocking back a few glasses of this stuff myself, and I am not really a drinker. It is very refreshing, smooth and sweet.

Sangria

1 liter bottle merlot or Italian red (look for bottle larger than the normal 750 ml. size bottles)
3 oz. brandy (a little more than 1/3 c.)
3 oz. triple sec (a little more than 1/3 c.)
4 TBSP sugar
1 lemon, sliced
1 orange, sliced
1 apple, sliced
1 small bottle club soda
Mix ingredients in a large pitcher and chill.
