Looking for your BEST Sangria Recipe! Would like to make for an upcomming communion party - I am partial to the white wine recipes. Share your best recipe Please!!

My go to for Sangria is a huge jug (I think the size is a liter) of Real or Yago brand Sangria and a big 1.5L bottle of yellowtail moscato. I chill both overnight then mix both in a punch bowl, add the juice of a lemon, lime, and orange (my last used honeybells that were so juicy and sweet). Dice a red and green apple (seeded of course but not peeled), slice an orange into rounds , slice a lemon into rounds, and halved a bunch of grapes. I let it sit in the fridge for a few hours so the flavors meld and let people ladle it over ice. So delish!

It was gone within 2 hours from my baby shower. I didn't have any but everyone loved it and kept going back for more.

Mine is a red sangria.

1 bottle of wine. I usually use a cabernet but have used a merlot.

1 each cut into wedges: orange, lemon, lime (squeeze the wedges into the pitcher before adding the wedges)

2 tablespoons sugar

splash of orange juice

2 shots of gin or triple sec

2 can diced pineapple, with juice

mix and let marinate overnight

Right before serving add 4 cups ginger ale and 1 cup of fresh raspberries (can use frozen if raspberries are out of season)

Serve over ice.

This makes one pitcher of sangria. I usually double the recipe if I'm entertaining.

In a BIG pitcher or a punchbowl, combine 2 bottles rose' wine, 1/2 c. Spanish brandy, 1/4 c. orange liqueur or Triple Sec, 1/2 c. orange juice and 1/2 c. superfine sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add 1/2 c. sliced strawberries, half an orange and lemon sliced thin, and a pitted plum and peach, cut into small wedges. Cover and chill well. Before serving add a 10 ox. bottle of chilled club soda.
Delicious!

Equal parts White Zin, Peach Schnapps, Sprite, and Pineapple Juice. I tend to be add a little more Wine tho.

Here is my favorite. Just combine whats below in a large pitcher.

(1) bottle magnum bottle of wine (or 2 bottles) I usually use a cheap white wine.

(1) Orange (or blood orange) cut into 4ths and squeezed

(1) lemon juiced

(4-6) tablespoons honey (depending how sweet you want it)

(2) pears diced into cubes

(2) red apple cubed

(2/3 cup) Tequila (good tequila)

Let it marinate 24 hours stirring atleast twice.

To serve fill a glass of ice...2/3 way up scoop a little of the diced fruit into the glass....top off with soda water.

The recipe on here I've used for a few parties and BBQs and it comes out delicious. I always make it the night before so everything has time to set. I've also been known to add some flavored vodka for a little extra kick, but would probably not recommend doing that for a communion party. :)
