Sanford FL Airport to WDW??

Whould like to get an idea of what the most inexpensive way would be to get from Sanford FL Airport to WDW resorts?? Allegiant Air has some great fares out of my area and they only fly into Sanford Airport. Will be traveling single so really don't need a rental car. Also any idea of possible taxi charges, etc..? Thanks for any help!!!!

When we looked into taxi fare from Sanford to WDW through Mears it was around $150 including tip, one way. They could not tell me if that included tolls, and I know their fare estimator is often low, I think in part to not including tolls in their published rates. We decided at that point the cost wasn't worth the savings of flying into Sanford, we flew into MCO.

I am looking into this myself for that same reason. It is so much cheaper using Allegiant and am getting frustrated waiting for a Southwest Ding... in the past, we have used someone named Ed Korgan, his name was given to me on the DIS as well, he drives from Sanford to MCO and the prices were very reasonable....I have his email to contact him, but not sure if i can post it on the DIS?? I cant remember what the rules are on that . Maybe if you google him or I can message you if interested.....

It will run at least $150 to get a ride from Sanford to WDW....most likely more. A rental car would be the cheapest.
