Sanford airport????

Where have you rented a car from when arriving in Sanford airport??Dollare and Alamo are there but neither will offer very good prices.....if you have flown in there please let me know who you had decent luck and prices with.......thanks going 3/9-3/17

We have flown into Sanford Airport twice. We rented from Alamo. I can not remember what we paid. When we stayed on site at Disney we just rented the car for the day we arrived and then again for the day that we left. This was a very economical way for us to do it. We are not flying Pan Am our next trip because we have found that they are unreliable as far as having planes ready for flights. We flew out of Portsmouth the first time and the flight was delayed about 8 hours. The second time we flew out of Worcester and the plane coming from Portsmouth was cancelled because it needed to be repaired. Fortunately a flight from Bangor had enough room for the people flying out of Worcester so our flight was only delayed by about an hour. The people in Portsmouth were stuck until the next day. I hope that you have better luck with Pan Am, because it certainly can be a great alternative from flying out of Logan. Have a great trip.

Hi JWP.......sorry to hear your Pan am story ..we have flown them before and loved it..we live only 15 minutes away so if there is a huge delay we will just leave and come back.....My husband really likes the larger seats on them.he is 6'8" and really cramped on Delta......so hopefully the flight will be okay.......just wish the rental car prices were better
