We are flying into Sanford on Sun Nov 3, staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek, flying home Sun Nov 10.
My original plan was a rental car but now that I'm reading about WBC's shuttle to the parks, thought that would be cheaper instead of rental car plus parking lot fees.

Not sure what to do. Clicking on bunch of different transport services and wow some are very expensive.

Suggestions?

There is a dis site for bonnet creek if you have not already seen it. Go there and ask about the shuttle bus. We stayed there in the past and thought the shuttle was very limited and were happy to have our car.

You still need to get from the airport to bonnet creek, I would think the cost of a shuttle would off set some of the rental fees.

And yes, car rental is very costly right now!

The issue you are running into is due to the distance between WDW and Sanford. It's almost twice the difference between WDW and MCO. So, it's just about double the cost. And there isn't nearly as much need for car service at Sanford, so not nearly as many cars are going there.
You may be better off just renting a car.

I've stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek twice now (and will be there again in Dec). Personally I'd go with the rental car. If not, you'd have to get a town car or taxi to get from Sanford to BS, then the BC shuttle would be $6.00 per day for each of you, so for three people you'd be looking at another $18.00 per day there. From what I understand the BC shuttles have a regular schedule but each one stops at at least two parks (like DS, AK, and Blizzard Beach then the othe bus would stop at like Epcot and MK), so bus rides may take awhile. Also they run pretty regularly in the mornings and evenings, but not during midday, when you may want to get back to the resort for a nap/swim break. If your little one had a melt down and you needed to get back to the resort, you'd have to get a cab or else wait a few hours until time for the BC bus to show up. When I was down there last month I was really glad to have the car, so I could come and go as I pleased (even though I was solo that trip). I also enjoyed it when I wanted to go resort to resort for ADRs, or offsite to WalMarts, Publix, the outlets, dinner, etc.

Absolutely go for the rental car. Between the car service fee and restrictions on shuttle runs, I would much rather a rental. Another reason if you have an emergency or wish to eat off site on the way back you save big bucks!
Our van at Sanford was $303 the two weeks before we flew, just keep watching.

I reserved but did not commit on a prepay,

Ok yeah I think definitely going to just get the rental car and be done with it. Moreso to avoid and hassle with the shuttles. I dont mind paying the money to ride but reading more and more about the inconvenience of times and availability, yeah just going to do the rental car. Thank you for all your input. I was on edge and these postings really helped!

Which company did you use? I found an intermediate car from Enterprise for $174 total for 11/3-10. Cheapest that I found for that size car of all the rental companies at Sanford. Would prefer a SUV since thats what we drive on a daily basis but would rather save like $100. :D
