Sanford Airport Rental Car Help!

I rented a car from Thrifty for when we fly in on 8/24. We arrive at 10pm. I'm always checking to see if the rates go down. Well tonight it tells me they are closed at that time. Now what do I do? I checked budget and they are also closed early....
Anyone flown in late and if so who did you rent from at Sanford airport?

Just called Thrifty and double checked with them and they said they close at 11pm thank goodness!!! So, we are all set

Thanks for posting a follow-up! I was watching your thread because we also have a late arriving flight (9:50 pm) to Sanford and I've been worried because I've also gotten different messages about closing times.

I know that Budget seems to be a firm 7 pm closing (their site won't even let you book later than 7 pm), and another car rental site will let you book past 10 pm but you have to call ahead and let them know when you're coming in so someone will be there (I forgot which one).

I have reservations with both Alamo and Thrifty right now, but Alamo closes at 10 pm and I'm worried they will leave if our flight is late. I may just go with Thrifty since we used them from Orlando Int. last time and didn't have any problems and they confirmed an 11 pm closing time with you.

I know it stinks that we are limited on where we can rent from...why would Budget close at 7??? That's just strange. Plus, I have noticed that while we are getting a cheaper fare by flying into Sanford, car rentals are extremely expensive!
