Sanford Airport - Car rental locations

For our next vacation, my family will arrive at Sanford airport around 10:00 at night. As I'm choosing rental car companies, I want to make a short list of only those who do not require a shuttle to get to the cars. My youngest has autism, and I want to make this as smooth as possible for him.

Does anyone have or know where I can get this info? Thanks so much!

The airport's website www.orlandosanfordairport.com lists all the rental agencies that are located there. To my knowledge, all are "on-airport" although I'm not certain about Enterprise. After you pick the one you are going to book, the website for that rental company should confirm their location for you, or you give that location a call. There is a huge rental center building across the street from the terminals.

We used Alamo out and back into Sanford and I know it was onsite with a bit of a walk - maybe the equivalent of a few lanes of terminal traffic and then a sidewalk about the length of one of those moving sidewalks they put inside the airport (except it wasn't a moving one). I don't quite recall the specifics, but it didn't seem bad, although it was just 2 of us, plus I find Alamo often has decent prices.

We used Dollar last year. You actually have to leave the Baggage Claim area and cross the loading and unloading lanes ouside then walk a bit to their desk. Not a far walk by any mean but was a bit of a hassle lugging our bags, stroller and a 4 year old. But then the walk to the actually car wasn't bad.
