Sandy and James PJ 6/18/08-DREAMS DO COME TRUE! few pictures up!

Yay one more month to go! :cool1: I'm so excited for you! I love the Mickey autograph idea - very cute. Maybe you can make it into a card. The front can be where Mickey signs his autograph and then on the inside of the card, they can put a picture of themselves with Mickey. Hmm..I might have to use that idea.

Your welcome bags look great - where did you get the little canvas bags from?

I love your ring! I love the blue! The autograph page is a great idea- may borrow that one down the line! You have done so much- this is an exciting time! Best wishes and look forward to your TR. The time will fly by!:goodvibes

your wedding band is gorgeous!!! I love it.

oh oh oh...what did you put in your welcome bags? your table looks so interesting in the picture and I'm all curious :)

The card is a great idea! i'm sure there will be plenty of Mickey pix!

i got the bags at Oriental trading-super cheap like $15 for 12. They are not really big- but with all the stuff they looked packed!

For the most part the time is flying! i just cant wait for it to get here!
please borrow the autograph page idea!
And thank you for my ring compliment, I found it browsing a store one day-and it looks like it was made for my engagement ring!

Thank you!

The welcome bags...park maps, a disney brochure I found at Disney store with tons of disney info!
The paper stuff in a folder-transportation schedules, hidden mickey hunt, disney trivia and facts, beer/drinks around epcot.
bear necessities- wet ones, bandaids, tylenol packs, sunscreen
disney magnets
disney key chain (mickey ears)-used them to hold the resi tag.
lanyards/autograph books/toe rings for some of the kids(depending on the age).
neck wallet
2008 disney pin
tins with mickey and friends sweet tarts (omg we will be eating them forever, had to order 5 lbs and used about 2! )

i think that is about it---

As time flys by!

We got our license in the mail on Monday-- really one of the most important things:rolleyes1
Brevard County was quick and efficient in the process!

DF and I got all of our fan programs put together yesterday:cool1: For anyone interested, I used spray adhesive and it worked great, just wear gloves it took forever and the "garage" hand cleaner to get the adhesive off my hands!- Not good for the attempts to keep my nails from breaking!

FINALLY GOT ALL OF THE RSVP's- we only sent out 12 invites and 1/4 of those were late!!!:headache: I am so glad we set the date as 2 months before, now i can give an accurate count! (And not pay for those not coming:banana: )

I have really enjoyed reading your report. The floral cones came out great for your ceremony and I love all the things you put in your Welcome Bag. The blue in your ring is just great.

I believe you mentioned something about rose petals on your aisle and I was wondering what Disney is charging you for this. I have heard all different prices and we are heading down the end of this month for our planning session and I want to have some figures so I know what I am asking for. I know lurkeyloo said she paid $50.00 for hers but I know other people that have been quoted a few hundred dollars.

Thanks,
Linda

Hi Linda  Thanks! My rose petals are $100.

Have a great time at your planning session!

Just trying to catch up on everyone's PJs. I love the Welcome Bags. It's great to see the Disney Bride logo being worn by another bride :bride: Lurkyloo mentioned wearing that shirt on a future Disney trip and that made me think about making one for our 1st anniversary trip. Maybe something along the effect of "Once a Disney Bride, always a Disney Bride" ;)

The Mickey autograph page idea is so cute, that would be a great addition to a scrapbook.

So, what does your final guest count look like after getting in the RSVPs?

I have been rereading your report and really love the bags you are using that you purchased at Oriental Trading. I have checked out their website and they have alot of different size bags. Can you please let me know what size bag you are using and how difficult was it to iron on the transfer. I have never done any iron on transfers before but would love to try.

Thanks,
Linda

Glad to see you back Vanessa! Thank you to you for the Disney Bride logo! i think it is cute:cutie: Cute idea for the anniversary trip!

I think the autograph page will work out well, we have a bunch of kids coming and yes perfect for my "i'm so behind" scrapbook! My rule is disney pix have to be scrapped before the next trip and I believe I will be breaking my own rule, cause I havent even touched the pix from our ps!

Our final count ended up being 33(including us). Nice/managable! Of course, until last night when DF talked to one of his sisters who says the other is not sure if she is coming!:headache: :headache: :headache: She has a resi and rsvp'd yes--when is the decision going to be made!! It is a family of 4! Apparently it is about the money! Well we got engaged and announced our DFTW 17months in advance! PLAN! I know for some it is a hard, but come for the wedding, there is no rule you have to come for a week and park hop!!!
Sorry for the rant, I'm a little irritated, I'm trying to get everything finalized:mad:

Hey Linda-
I used the 8inch bags, when I got them I was disappointed on the size, but actually it has worked out well, they are stuffed-better than being 1/2 empty!
i got cotton iron on transfers for ink jet printers at Michael- best part no image reversal (since I dont know how to do that!) Cut around the image and hot iron-it works best with an iron that will get hot without steam-really pretty easy to do! And personal, I picked everyones favorite character if they had one, or like my DB is a firefighter so I found donald duck in firefighter gear!

Good luck with yours!

Thanks for the info on the bags. I was thinking of using one picture for everyone - the one with all the characters as the open door with the Welcome mat. I figured this would be great for the Welcome Bag. We will have 4 children attending the wedding 3 boys (5, 5 and 2) and one girl (3). I was going to put different pictures on the ones for the kids. I know the girl loves Ariel and at least one of the boys likes Cars so I would use those pictures.

About the size of the bag. I was thinking of putting two waterbottles in each bag in rooms where there are two people. Do you think if I do this with this size bag there will be enough room for other things? I might just order one set of bags and see what I can fit in. I was also going to put folders in and I think you had said you had to make up some sort of folder because regular folders would not fit in the bag.

Thanks,
Linda

I understand the feeling about getting behind with the scrapbooks. I worked to get things done from the planning session for my shower and we're attempting to get an overview of the wedding done in time for our at-home reception which is at the beginning of June.

Believe me, I understand about the frustration with getting a final guest count. We still had chances in our final count two weeks before the wedding :scared1: It all worked out in the end, so I wouldn't worry about it. :goodvibes

Linda- I think you would not be able to get alot more in with 2 water bottles, I would probably do the 12inch bags for that. i did make a folder for 5x7 inserts with the info.

Wow how fun, an at home reception to look forward to! :thumbsup2
I am going to be sooo far behind after the wedding:rolleyes1 At least I will have something to do after wedding planning/obsessing is over

I think I'm just bothered by it being his sister! Oh well, things will work out I'm sure!

Thanks for your fast reply. I am going to check out a few more websites and maybe order some samples and do a sample bag with some stuff.

Where did you get all your graphics for the bags? I tried enlarging the welcome door and it got kind of blurry.

Linda

I got the graphics mostly from doing a search for disney clipart! the Welcome one I used on the folders, so it didnt need to be very big.

Some of them do get blurry when they get big and I dont know how to fix that, out of my scope of computer skills, unfortunately!

I do have an extra bag if you want me to throw it in the mail so you dont have to order 12 of them and have the hassle of returning if they wont work! pm the info if you'd like!

:)

Thanks, I am sure I'll be spending some time on the design board checking out designs. I will PM you about the bag.

Linda
