How does it feel to be so close? I alternate between panic that I forgot something major and incredible excitement. We're flying down on the 19th, so I won't even be able to sneak a peek of the wedding, so I'll have to wait for the TR!

I think I'm mostly excited!! Time is flying! Too bad you will not be around! We have plans at the MK the day of your wedding-may have to cruise by on the monrail and lurk

I can't wait to read both of your TR's and see tons of pictures!!!

Don't forget your dresses!!!

I'll probably start having nightmares of leaving it-especially since it will be the last thing in the car!

It is great to have it paid off! I have boxes and crap everywhere! Nothing officially packed though! Dont even know where to start!

Sandy.... Yeah! I have been trying to click on your PJ for quite a while, but it has never worked for me. I saw this morning that it looked a little different, so I tried again and "whaalaa" it worked! I was so excited! I have been spending all morning catching up with your planning! Everything looks amazing! I can't believe we are getting so close. I love you program fans... what a neat idea! I also love your welcome bags... I hope mine turn out as well as yours. I think I am going to drag DF to the Disney Store today to look for park maps and that info. pamplet! I was going to wait until we got to the parks to collect the maps, but I never thought that the Disney Store may have them. Our Disney Store in my town closed a few years ago "very tragic for me"...and it happen on my birthday, so we have to drive about 45 minutes to the nearest Disney Store (Branson, Missouri). So I guess I am going to take a road trip today! Thanks for all the ideas! Keep the reports coming!

Sandy... we did have a nice road trip. Although, we did have to go to two different Disney Stores down there to get enough pamphlets for our guests. We also found a few other goodies too. They had their pins at 50% off, so we got some really neat "Disney Family Vacation" pins for all of guests. We also found some Mickey and Minnie Bride and Groom mini plushes that we could not resist. They also had a lot of mini plushed that were on clearance for $1.99, so we bought a few to stick into the kids' goodie bags. So the trip was overall a great one for wedding related items. I saw many other things that I like, but I just kept telling myself... "I can't buy anything that is not related to the wedding or honeymoon". Which is very hard!

I will take pictures of all of my bags and goodies soon and post them on my board. Keep more reports coming!

OOH! I may have to see if my disney store has the pins! We love pins! We did get everyone a 2008 pin--but 50% off!!

Glad your trip was a success-especially the distance you had to travel to get there!

I totally understand the no buying rule! Our famous last words right now have to be....after the wedding........when there will be no money left

2 WEEKS TO GO!

We leave in 8 days!!!!!!!!!

Pretty much all wedding details are in place! My boss and the other managers too me out for dinner and a lingere "shower" on Monday! Got lots of pretty stuff!

Friday i have a shower given by another girl i work with! I really didnt expect a shower so it is a nice surprise! Should be fun!

i have 2 days left to work and I am off for 3 weeks!

I am completely overwhelmed by the massive packing I have to still do, i just look at my piles!

Will try and post shower pix before I leave! Having some problems with my internet provider...again!

Its funny, I said to someone this weekend I am trying to be so organized I probably wont be able to find anything once we get there !

Okay I think Bridzilla is coming!

This morning my boss calls-no biggie, she calls every week! "I know you are busy with the wedding, she starts"
Background, I am a nurse, assist manager. I work weekends and monday to do manager "stuff" One of my things is our schedule--so I finished one on Monday-then the other managers look at it, help fill holes etc. Well, apparently Joint Commission- these are the people who allow hospitals to keep the doors open(literally), they are the ones who accredit hospitals--VERY BIG DEAL!!!!! they came this week for our unannounced survey(we have been expecting them since December) for a week long visit-- sooooo---

noone has had time to go over the schedule, with the fine tooth comb my boss likes-- so she wants me to come in extra and LOOK at it!

I work weekends so I dont have to have childcare! Tomorrow is my only day off with DF---last one until we leave! We have TONS of errands to run, packing to do. I could just scream!!!!!!!!!

The big deal to me is---

1. my time! I work 25miles away!
2. my time! I have lots to do!
3. There is no magic, no pixiedust in the schedule! Holes are holes- they will fill, it happens every schedule!
4. Everyone that needs to know about the schedule know! I already called everyone!
5. She is freaking because of Joint Commission and it has rolled on to ME!



Thanks for listening! After Sunday I have NO WORK for 3 WEEKS!!!

I am sorry Sandy! I bet that does put a snag in your plans. "Like you don't have other things to worry about!" Just keep telling yourself: "I will be in Disney in 7 days, I will be in Disney in 7 days, I will be in Disney..." Disney will erase all of your worries the minute you step on property, well it always does for me anyway! I hope everything works out. Good luck.
