DAY SIX

7 year old daughter had PS for WONDERLAND TEA with Alice and the Mad Hatter at GRAND FLORIDIAN from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

It only made sense to hang out and the Magic Kingdom in the morning before the tea!

We had seen and done lots already at MK, so we did lots of repeat stuff.

We took the little boat from MK to GF. I would recommend you try all the different types of transportation at WDW just for the experience.

We arrived early and got to walk around GF, It was grand! But frankly, for our family, CBR was the best choice. GF looks beautiful, but CBR offers lots of things that we like.

While dd enjoyed TEA with Alice, dh and I went to the GF snack area for lunch. ds feel asleep so it was the ONLY time dh and I were alone and got to chat. It was very nice.

THE WONDERLAND TEA DETAILS: We checked in around 1:15 pm and the children went into the room around 1:35 pm. A couple moms and myself asked if we got take pix and video of the table before the kids got to it. It was nice to take lots of film and video of the CLEAN table. The kids went in at 1:35 pm and we parents left. They enjoyed beautifully decorated ham and turkey sandwiches, applejuice as tea (they got their own little tea pot), chicken nuggets and of course they got to decorate and eat a cupcake. Alice and the Mad Hatter joined the children for a while. They played games and teased the parents who remained to take a 'peek' thru the drapes! It ended about 2:40 pm.

We returned to MK and did Toontown and Fantasyland ALL OVER AGAIN!

We surprised the kids with character meal with Eeyor, Tigger, Piglet and Pooh and the Crystal Palace at 5:30 pm.

We went back to CBR and had a nice refreshing swim (I think that was laundry night ~ I hated doing laundry, the dryer took 2 rounds and still the clothes were wet!)

We strolled over to OPR with our refillable mugs and enjoyed a nice drink while watching Illuminations from a table outside OPR! ANOTHER GRAND DAY AT WDW!

STAY TUNED FOR DAY 7 ~MORE MGM, DOWNTOWN DISNEY, TYPHOON LAGOON AND ILLUMINATION AT EPCOT!

we are always glad to come home....for about...................six days and then let me go back and play, and enjoy the place again......it is wonderful.....thanks for the great report:jester:

Another fabulous day, from the sounds of it. One of my favourite things to do is to have afternoon tea at the GF. Even my boys enjoying doing that, I have a great picture of Dan holding up his tea cup, with his pinky finger crooked. He really got "into" the experience! The Wonderland Tea sounds great for little kids, too.

Isn't it fun to take all the different modes of transportation at WDW? We especially like the boats. It's so relaxing! :D

Sounds as if the Magic just keeps getting better for your trip. The Tea party sounds very interesting. What were most of the ages of the children as an average?

I think my niece would enjoy something like this some visit.

Keep up the good work on your reports, they make me feel like I'm there...
