DAY 7

We woke fairly early, this was one of the few days we did NOT have PS for breakfast. I made everyone sandwiches in the room for breakky!

Off to MGM. I made a deal with my family that if I didn't lose 10 pounds before the WDW trip I would do TOWER OF TERROR! I had lost 80 pounds before but still could not get those 10 pounds (from pregnancy) off ~ so I LOST THE BET!

I did Tower of Terror! It was soooooo scary, but FUN! When I got off my daughter had tears in her eyes, she wanted to go on it too. Now let me tell you, my daughter has had three open heart operations and she WANTS TO GO ON TOWER OF TERROR! What could I do? I cleared the rides with her cardiologist and so OFF WE WENT! Daughter did it and loved it!

I went on Rockin Roller Coaster against my better judgement. I read that it was VERY FAST. But I found it to be fun! Glad I did it!

We all did the Great Movie Ride, that was a fav!

While dh and dd went to the Hunchback Show, ds and I visited the characters, more pix of Pooh, Tigger and Mickey!

We left MGM and went to Downtown Disney. I JUST HAD TO SEE IT! I'm afraid I wasn't that impressed, but still glad I went.

Back to CBR to change into bathing suits, TIP: BRING YOUR BATHING SUITS EVERYWHERE YOU GO. I wish I had our bathing suits because Downtown Disney is right across the street from Typhoon Lagoon which was our next stop!

WE ABSOLUTLEY POSITIVELY RECOMMEND TYPHOON LAGOON! We swam with SHARKS! The water wasn't nearly as cold as I read. It was very pleasant. I went across Shark Reef first so I could take pictures. As I was approaching the end of the pool I was disappointment I hadn't seen a shark yet, WELL, just that moment a hammerhead shark swam under me! I was like Hooper in JAWS, my eyes went BIG and I gasped! You aren't supposed to kick your feet in Shark Reef ~ SORRY ~ not only did I kick ~ I think I walked on the water! LOL! It was such a blast I did it THREE TIMES! dh did it twice and dd did it half a time. dd was half way across when she freak out and a lifeguard had to get her. It was an exciting story for her to tell!

The wave pool at TL was the best I've ever seen! The whole place was great. I liked it better than Blizzard Beach.

Back to CBR for a fast dinner.

About 7:45 pm we went to Epcot for Illuminations. We arrived early, so dd and dh did Test Track AGAIN!

I was Illuminations 3 years ago, I think I liked that better. This time was nice, but I think it was short and not as great with the lasers and music. It was still nice to see. dd thought it rocked! Glad she got to enjoy it.

STAY TUNED FOR DAY 8: The day before we leave! GF 1900 Park Faire PS, Ride upfront on the monorail, MK!

next time......We are also typhoon lagoon lovers.....we did that place over and over again.....and just sitting in those big tubes and relaxing is also the wave to go.....thanks for the great report:jester:

You're a lot braver than I am. I can't imagine doing ToT or RNR! We're going next month and I get nervous just thinking about those rides. Thanks for the great trip reports.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Aren't ToT and RnR a lot of fun! :bounce: I'm planning on seeing the Hunchback show in July, I've heard good things about it. We LOVE TL too! We swam across Shark Reef three times as well. We spent so much time between the Reef and the wave pool, that we didn't see what else there was there, but I hear there is a lazy river ride like at BB, which I really liked. I'm amazed at all the PS's you managed to fit in. I'll know where to come for a revue! :)

Sounds like another excellant day...you seemed to go back to CBR for breaks a lot. Was it really that nice??? I'm so excited because we will be there so soon and you make me want to get there earlier.

Was the food good and were the refillable mugs really worth it???

:earsboy:

JULIE! Thanks for your great comments! Your advice helped us plan lots! THANKS!

Mickeygolf: I am the first one to request a new room if I don't like what I see. I am picky! BUT LET ME TELL YOU! CBR IS GREAT! I didn't see anything BAD about it at all! The food in the food court was quite yummy. I found that sometimes the lines were slow, but that's okay, we were on vacation, not in a race. I read some pretty scary things about CBR, but we had a wonderful time. Now we have a dilema ~ when we go back to WDW we would LOVE to stay at CBR again, but we'd also like to try something new. We didn't have time to look at other resorts closely, just a fast drive-by, the nothing looked as good as CBR to me. CHAT SOON!

Wow, your daughter is pretty brave to want to do TOT at her age, that's great! I was very nervous about going on it, but like you Sandra, once I did, I really enjoyed it.

RnR coaster, not yet, maybe next time.

We love Typhoon Lagoon too, it's just so lush and beautiful. :D

Glad you had another good day. Just a thought, maybe you thought the shark reef wasn't too cold because you're Canadian! :D I've always lived in the South, and I think it's COLD!
