Sandals

I just bought some really comfy sandals and I was wondering if you still need to go through a break-in process with sandals before using them or if you can use them right away. Our trip is in 2 weeks. I know you have to with dress shoes and tennis but sandals I am not sure. I would love to be able to wear them at least some days to give my feet a break from tennis.

Thoughts?

In my experience, as long as they are leather you are good. Also, I will never wear backless sandals at Dis again. One rainy day at AK and I almost broke my leg!!

Wear them around when you can in the next two weeks until you leave. At least if they do rub on any part of your foot there will be time for the leather to soften and the skin to recover before you go. I found that my feet swell with all the walking, even when it isn't that hot. It is a good idea to take another pair of shoes to give your feet a rest in between - good move!
