Are there certain rides you can not go on with sandals? I mean like open toed flip flops

I've never seen anyone denied access to a ride over their choice of footwear. I would however suggest wearing tennis shoes or something else a bit more comfy than flip flops......they aren't really foot friendly for walking for long periods of time and depending on when you go people will step on your feet and not care at all.

Maliboomer, Soaring and Orange Zinger they will have you take your shoes off prior to allowing the ride to start. I can't think of any ride at DL that requires that.. I don't think they will prevent you from riding the rides with flip flops on but they will ask you to take them off.....Personally I don't like flip flos for long days in the park. I recommend tennis shoes or TEVAS. Just my two cents!

I wear flips to DL almost every trip and have never had a problem on any rides. And I get sore feet no matter what shoes I'm wearing But what are sore feet when you're at DL?? woohoo!!!!!!!

I guess I slipped by the flip flop detector hehe I wore mine on Soaring I wore them on every ride, in DL and DCA although I do not do Maliboomer or Orange Zinger, I would think they might fly off on those two rides......

they don't deny them but on some rides they just suggest you don't wear them!

I have worn flip flops on every trip to Disneyland in my adult life and love them. I am lucky in that I have never had sore feet. I have not had problems on any rides in Disneyland. I am not sure about California Adventure as we usually end up over there in the evening when I have changed into my Keds.
