sandals okay at Shula's ??

my dh and I have a PS for this evening and I was wondering if it was okay for him to wear his ecco receptors (teva looking sandals) to dinner.

They told us business casual. He is wearing a dressy short sleeved shirt (collared) and shorts. I just don't want dh to feel uncomfortable.

What do any Shula veteran's think??

When we were there in July a group of guys came in wearing polo shirts, nice shorts and sandals (I think they were there with a convention) and I overheard them apologizing for their attire. The waitstaff assured them it didn't matter, but they felt out of place because everyone else was dressed up. I guess your husband needs to decide if it will make him uncomfortable to be dressed more casual than the norm. I was surprised how formal their table service was for a steakhouse. The staff is very attentive and well trained. It's probably one of the best meals I've ever had too. Get the potato pancake thing. It's Awesome!

Hi everyone

couldn't get back to see this thread until after dinner. Thanks for the responses. Everyone was right. My Dh was fine with his Ecco's in fact we were more dressed up then 95% of the people in there.

Also surprisingly enough there were a lot of children present as well. We put our rugrat in Camp Dolphin.

We did have the wonderful potato pancake. I had the filet (excellent) husband had the porterhouse not the 48oz.(loved it) Though he has vowed to do this next time, but with no appetizer, sides or beer. LOL

We absolutely loved the staff so attentive, friendly, informative, intuitive. Can't say enough about them.

We are trying the Yachtsmen Saturday. Wish us luck. I was way too full from my Shula's meal. Didn't finish half my steak.
