We're cruising on Easter Sunday with our 3 young children (4, 5 and 6 yrs old). I was debating about just buying sand toys either on the ship or at Castaway Cay. this is probably a dumb question, but do they sell sand toys on the ship? or just on the island? I could also buy them at Disney before we board. I'm just trying to avoind having to pack them and/or carry them around?

I saw them on the island (CC) for sale when we were there last week.

Have a great time:hyper:

The ones they sell at Castaway Cay are pretty pricey. If you're going to be in Orlando for a day or two prior to the cruise, I would stop by a Target, or similar store, and buy them there.

I'd either bring them, or buy them before boarding. They only sell sand toys at the store on Castaway Cay, and they are VERY expensive. I think they were $20 for a bucket, shovel, sifter and maybe one or two molds. WAY OVER PRICED in my opinion and with 3 kids, you'd have to buy 3!!

Last year when we were at Castaway Cay, we took ds(5) to the kids club on Castaway Cay. He really didn't want to stay, but the staff told us we could sign out any of the sand toys that they had there in the club. We grabbed a crab mold, shovels, and a couple of buckets and hit it to the beach. It was free, so that's always a plus to me.:bounce:
