DD's school is having a carnival in September. I am in charge of a Sand Art booth. My plan is to have the little empty plastic bottles and either spoons with funnels or squirt bottles. Kids will fill up the bottles. This is a fundraiser. I am having a hard time with pricing because I can't figure out how much sand I'll need.
The bottles are 2 1/2 ounces. The sand ***es in 2lb bags. These are not the same kind of measurements, right? I am trying to avoid filling up the little bottle to find out how much sand it takes. I guess I could weigh the empty bottle, weigh the bottle filled, subtract out the weight of the bottle, divide......yuckkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can anyone help me?

Its best to allow an airspace anyway to get free flowing.
