That's what I love about MK - people take off in so many different directions at RD that it's easy to do lots in the mornings!

Yeah, we like to head for FL in the morning. That way we can ride those rides with no wait. I just can't justify waiting in line for them later in the day.

Now you have me tempted on the mini waffle iron. I have the big iron but the little one is too cute.

We have done Labor Day weekend many times and enjoyed those crowds but now with DD being in school, I think those days are on hold for awhile. We are still hoping to tackle Fantasyland like you in a few weeks minus the FP+ for LM. We tried to schedule our FP+ for after lunch and in the evenings.

From looking at your pictures, it looks like the crowds dispersed and it wasn't too bad in the new Fantasyland. Your husband looks so funny on that teeny tiny horse.

Are you still there? How bad are the crowds???

One pizza is big enough for all of us if we get dessert. It's 2 large pieces each. And we usually get a snack later! Great deal.

Did you order one?!? I went to our closest Toys R Us, but they were out of them. So I had to order it online and pay stupid shipping!! Oh well. It was shipped today!

Yeah, the crowds disperse once you hit the castle! That's what's great about MK, not everyone goes for the same things like at the other parks!

The crowds really are something I've never seen before. Definitely worse than July 4th. Amazingly enough we were able to get on some rides w FP and single rider line. Couldn't do TT even SR was ridiculous.
I really wanted to be in a park for NYE but after seeing the crowds we didn't feel like dealing w it.
We went to AK NYE afternoon bc everyone and their mother was at MK and EP. WE thought we could do EE, Safari and Nemo show and call it a day. The waits there weren't nearly as bad. We rode SR for EE and only waited 15 min. we missed the safari (the last one was 4:30) not a big deal.
As we were leaving AK we decided why don't we play mini golf ? We have wanted to do it for a while and never have time- perfect!!! And no lines. we had a blast!! And AP's pay half price! Woohoo

I've always heard about the Christmas/New Years crowds, but haven't experienced them. Yet. Might do it one day just out of curiosity! It would probably be more of a resort vacation and not so much a park vacation!!

We have always wanted to do mini-golf too, but haven't squeezed it in yet. Maybe this will be the year!

I stayed at The Yacht club with my sisters and we were suppose to have a room with the sofa bed and it never happened. My two sisters ended up sharing all week. our room faced the quiet pool and my sisters loved sitting out there they hated The main pool.

Our local news showed some aerial pictures of MK today and it looked like a madhouse. They said it closed due to capacity before lunch and that people were reporting wait times of up to 5 hours! I'm not sure if they knew what they were talking about because I've never heard of 5 hour waits before, but that's what they said.

Can't believe you are going back THIS month! Time flies twice as fast during the holiday season!
