Sanaa seating by window

Are there tables for 5 by the window?

Also when is the best time to eat to get window seats? I'd assume right when they open.

We always book first thing at opening for lunch and have always had a window seat. I think there may be one but most are square tables with four chairs.

Agree with pp, we have not had a problem with window seats and early dinner either.

We went in December 2 years ago and had a 5:15 reservation. Having never been to AKL, we arrived about hour early to explore and watch the animals. My husband asked if it would be possible to be seated by the window and hostess said she couldn't make guarantee, but when they started seating for dinner, we were one of the first to be seated...by the window! Never hurts to ask! Even though it gets dark early that time of year, we still had about 1/2 hour of daylight to see the animals while we ate. We have a 5:00 reservation this December and am hoping for another table by the window!

We did lunch in May at noon and got a window seat.

I agree with the PP, it never hurts to ask for a window seat. I also asked at Rose and Crown for a good view on the patio for Illuminations and got it. They can't guarantee your preference, but I've found they do try to accommodate guests.

we were one of the first to be seated...by the window

1) Our last visit to Sanaa, we got a window table.
2) We asked the SEATER to change our table and give the window seat to a "Tourist".
3) She said the ASSIGNER would not change it.
4) We actually called the ASSIGNER over and asked her, THEN she gave us a different table.

NOTE:
The ASSIGNER gives tables due to
. . . the SERVER availability (as SERVERS do arrive on scattered schedules)
. . . to evenly distribute tables among all SERVERS (for tip equalization)
. . . to spread out "good" seat locations and "mediocre" seat locations
. . . that is why sometimes it is almost an Act-Of-God to get your table changed
