Sanaa food pics

Thanks for posting! It all looks really yummy and I can't wait to try it for myself on May 2nd!

Wow, great find glennbo. Can't wait to get there and give it a try!

Maybe we can get the families together one of the days we are there and come up with a combined food report for the board to enjoy since TGM will have us on the same schedule.

You are faster than me! I just found the article and came over here to post it!

Wow,these look great! :goodvibes I notice they do have at least one vegetarian entree, too. :thumbsup2

Can't wait to try Sanaa in May!
Thanks for posting this :thanks:

My DW tries to eat vegetarian as much as possible so she'll be happy with this too.

I'll be looking for you Marv. I already know I'll be able to find you at the pool, on any given afternoon late June - early July. I wonder how many guys with 3 kids I'll ask "are you Marv?" before I happen upon the right one. Right now I'm planning on trying to get a Sanaa ressie for dinner on 6/28. I'll probably post more about our plans on the TGM forum once we get closer (and actually have ADRs).

I must admit I saw it on another forum (although I do have Stitchkingdom saved as a favorite, but hadn't checked it for a while), and came over here to let my fellow DISers know about it. We can't wait either!

glennbo, you've seen our pic on TGM, and I also posted to my thread on here about the fourth, so you should be able to at least narrow it down some. You might be in trouble looking for three kids. The youngest will probably spend a lot of time there with us, but the older two are too indestructable to have to listen to the advice of TGM, so they will stay in the parks to get in more rides and be part of them. They will be there with us some though, because where there is a pool at Disney, there are usually girls.

Right now I think I had us down to potentially go a little later in the week to Sanaa, but can't remember right now. Of course, like you said, until we get ADRs the end of this month, who knows where we will be and when?

I will share my plans more on TGM as we get closer too, so it should be easier to figure out a good time to get together.

I know....I was half-joking. I'll find you. I put a pic of us in my sig on TGM.

Wow, all the dishes look delicious! I can't wait to try them.

Thanks for the link to the food pics for Sanaa....I just made a reservation for June 13th, our last night at AKV.....really looking forward to trying this restaurant.

I just don't understand Disney thinking. Here we are in the depths of one of the worse recessions this country has every seen. People are loosing their jobs all over the place and are trying to find ways to cut expenses any way they can. Disney itself is even laying off employees. So what does Disney do - they open another high end, expensive restaurant. I just don't understand it :confused3.

Since the amenities for Kidani were planned prior to DVC announcing the new resort, and that happened at least two (maybe three or more) years ago, they couldn't have predicted where we would be right now with the economy. I wish there was going to be a CS option at Kidani since it appears that Sanaa is now going to be a lunch and dinner option, even though I had seen earlier reports that it would be breakfast and dinner.
