We are staying at Kidani next week and plan on eating at Sanaa a couple times for breakfast. Is it hard to get a seat? Crowded? How’s the food? Any recommendations?

Can't speak for post-COVID but we went in Feb & really enjoyed it. You order at the bar & they bring food to your table. One of my favorite meals of the trip. The food is really good, easily sharable in my opinion. We got the french toast & the Boere breakfast, way too much food. The biscuit was dry but o/w everything was very tasty esp the french toast. Coffee was really good too. They have a few grab & go type items too like their banana bread. Assume w/ parks opening later & the Mara closed, it would be fairly busy now but others can answer that. We're going back this month & staying at a different resort but have thought about starting our AK day at Sanaa for breakfast.

We really enjoy the breakfast foods, although I agree that the coconut biscuits are dry. Love the banana bread. The restaurant does have plenty of seating and currently some of the tables are marked so they are not used. If you are not happy with the seating options, you can take you food back to your room.

Just be aware that you may not be able to park at AKL, as you would not have an ADR and people have reported being denied parking at the resorts without one.

We stayed at Kidani from 8/3-8/8. Huge non moving line to try and get breakfast. DH gave up the first day. Tried again another day when line was short, but it was taking too long as the only cashier was also making the fancy coffee drinks. DH was eventually successful a couple days and got food to go..so no idea how full the seating was. The issue right now is that Mara isn't open at Jambo, so this is the only QS on property for breakfast. Food was yummy though!
