San Juan Transfers- Timing

Thinking about doing DCL transfers from hotel in San Juan. Do you have any idea if this will get us to port early or should I just try for early PAT and taxi/or other?

We do want to try for an upgrade at port so early is key.

I've never used DCL transfers in San Juan. We use "The Limo People" if you are interested in booking a private transfer.

We used Uber in San Juan last time we sailed out there. Worked great! We've also rented a car, which is nice if you want to explore further afield, but it's expensive and they require additional insurance (we didn't realize our mainland insurance wouldn't cover us). But Ubers are easy and plentiful there. We had no troubles.
