I am helping my son plan his honeymoon and trying to decide between using DVC pts. or my hotel reward points for his stay in San Francisco. Anyone stayed at the Fairmont? It is listed in DVC Concierge Collection, I believe. The pts are very pricey so wondering if anyone found it worth the pts.

Thanks for your help!

We stayed at the Fairmont in 2009 for our anniversary. I thought it was well worth the points. The place is beautiful and the view from our signature room was amazing. We could see from one end of the bay to the other. I would highly recommend this hotel. San Francisco will be a great place for a honeymoon!

I have not used points to stay there but the Fairmont is a beautiful hotel.

My family and I stayed at the Fairmont on our points and it was well worth it. The rooms were nice size (seemed larger due to very high ceilings) and we even had an extra rollaway bed in our room and still had plenty of room. The closet was also quite large for an old hotel.

We were lucky enough to also stay at the Fairmont Inn and Spa in Sonoma on the same visit. Not sure if that is still available via the Concierge Collection, but if your kids want a night in Sonoma/Napa I would highly recommend it.

Congrats and Best Wishes :groom::bride:

We did the same on our trip, but the Inn at Sonoma is no longer offered. The Fairmont is without a doubt worth the points! The location is wonderful and all of San Francisco is easily accessible. Have him go to the Fairmont web site and enroll in the Fairmont Presidents club. It is free and offers some nice perks for the stay even using DVC points. It will be a memorable honeymoon.
