Does anybody have a recommendation of a good hotel around the Seaworld area? We are staying 2 nights in the Legoland hotel & then want to move to a different hotel, after visiting Seaworld, for one night before starting our vacation in Disneyland.

We've never been south of Disneyland before & any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

What are you looking for in your hotel? Plenty of great places in the area. The Hyatt Regency is very nice.

Paradise Point is close by. It is like being at a Hawaiian Resort. Most Mission Bay hotels are quite nice - more resort-like than those on Hotel Circle.

I am curious about this as well. We will be visiting San Diego then disneyland for the first time next summer. So excited and love planning! Thanks for the help!

If you Google "Mission Bay Hotels San Diego" a list of hotels and their ratings will come up. We also liked the Hilton along with Paradise Point. My daughter says the Bahia is very nice.

We always stay at the Catamaran Resort--in fact, we'll be there on Sunday---in 4 days!!!:yay:

The Catamaran is on Mission Bay, and less than 10 minutes from Sea World---a super easy and quick drive!

What we love about this particular property, is that you have Mission Bay beach out the back of the Hotel---literally---especially if you book a bay view room or bay view suite!

If you go out the front of the Hotel, you simply cross Mission Blvd. at the light(far right corner of the Property), and you are right on Ocean Beach---about a five minute walk!

It's the best of both worlds(in our opinion)---calm, low key, lovely beach, or big, beautiful, wave crashing beach across the street!

There are some really good eating spots all within a 5 minute walk: The Eggery(to die for breakfasts!!!!), Tony Roma's, and Boardwalk Pizza(kind of "Dive" looking, but fantastic pizza!!!), all across the street, and La Playa(authentic Mexican food, also kind of "Dive" looking, but super clean and delicious!), right next door to the Catamaran!

Rooms are very reasonable(we think anyway), considering the marvelous location, and the earlier you book, the better the rates are!

When we don't feel like splurging for a Bay View Suite, we book a Garden Room(which we love)! The grounds are tropical and gorgeous, and they light tiki torches all over the property when the sun sets!:thumbsup2
