San Diego night time activities for kids?

We are tagging along with my DH on a business trip to SD. I’ve gotten pretty good at entertaining the kids while he’s busy in SD during the day but he has some dinners going on for our trip next month. Any ideas for fun activities for kids at night? Unfortunately it looks like SeaWorld stops fireworks after Labor Day. Thanks!

Depending on where you are staying and their schedule perhaps a Padres baseball game?

San Diego symphony sometimes has some kid-friendly performances, e.g., where they will show a movie and perform the soundtrack live.

They are almost 10 & 7.

Frisbee Golf in Morley Field.
Liberty Station food hall/comic book store/playground/Lot Movie Theatre
Tidepools if the tides allow it.
Walk along the embarcadero.
Pokemon Go hunting along the harbor in Coronado (or just a walk).
