San Diego: Crowds in Balboa Park on Saturday, July 18?

We were planning on visiting some of the museums in Balboa park on Saturday, July 18. I discovered that the Pride Parade (11:00AM) and Festival (12 noon) are scheduled for that day drawing 100,000 people to the park. Is it still possible to get to and from the museums or will it be difficult to navigate the area due to the crowds?

Ouch. So it's hard to park in Balboa Park on any summer day - you may want to consider taking a bus, cab, or trolley ( think there are some ) up there.

I doubt the folks at those will be going to the museums - they will probably be mostly on the park grounds.
