Is the San Angel Inn wildly popular or is there something else going on in September? I found zero availability for our entire week.
I will definitely keep checking. I’m going to sound like an old fogey but I remember the days when the San Angel Inn was an easy walk up. This was over a decade ago though. It's not a very large restaurant (hence one of the major complaints of tables being way too close together) and it's pretty popular due to the ambiance. Keep checking - people cancel ADRs all the time. I ate there recently due to grabbing a last minute ADR. When I went, they were not allowing walkups at all but unsure if it's like that all the time.
Disney also has a habit of releasing ADRs late for some reason. There have been reports of that happening with other restaurants.
Happening to us right now as well, different ADR. Definitely something strange happening, so just keep checking (as we are). It's not a very large restaurant (hence one of the major complaints of tables being way too close together) and it's pretty popular due to the ambiance. My dates are all available right now with the 60 plus ten thing. I got everything else I wanted just not San Angel. When are you going in September? Currently ADRs for all WDW restaurants are available through September 5th.
Ok good to know it might just be a glitch. I did have to log out and back in at one point to finish reserving all my days. The system was choking.Happening to us right now as well, different ADR. Definitely something strange happening, so just keep checking (as we are).
It's not an easy walk up unfortunately. There actually was a sign at the hostess stand saying that they were not allowing any walkups. This was at peak dinner time hours.I will definitely keep checking. I’m going to sound like an old fogey but I remember the days when the San Angel Inn was an easy walk up. I’m bummed I couldn’t book it. It was the one reservation my guys asked for.
Yeah it's really odd. It happened with Boma last year and there was a thread where people were saying this was happening with Narcoossee's.Happening to us right now as well, different ADR. Definitely something strange happening, so just keep checking (as we are).
That's ours, for Narcoossee's. ADRs right up to the day before our stay in August, lol. Then not a single time all the way into September (and I check like 10 times a day). Hopefully they'll pop up soon. It's not an easy walk up unfortunately. There actually was a sign at the hostess stand saying that they were not allowing any walkups. I started at 6:45am this morning trying to figure it out. I got everything else we wanted but San Angel. SO frustrating.I’ve been seeing the same stuff. Very frustrating. Lots of availability 9/1-4 and 9/6. Nothing available 9/5 or 9/7-9/12 (end of my window is 9/12) for San Angel Inn, Chefs de France, Via Napoli, Rose & Crown. I see Coral Reef available for booking all those days so it’s not an issue on my end.
I’m glad I’m not alone. I’ve been pulling out my hair trying to figure out my dining situation.
We had a reservation in May and had a long wait. The place was packed. I guess it has been popular. Good luck.Is the San Angel Inn wildly popular or is there something else going on in September? I found zero availability for our entire week.
Thank you so much for the heads up!! I was able to book our dinner! Some San Angel have now dropped for September. I just booked mid September.
