We currently have reservation for dinner here because I always wanted to eat here since it is a neat looking restaurant... The menu seems pretty good, but not too sure for my one picky kid (which we can get something later if needed for him)...

So I was wondering if anyone who has eaten here recently has any pictures of entrees and desserts for adults and kids...TIA!

I don't have any pics myself. You might look on the allears site because they do have a few pics under reviews. Otherwise, you could look at some individual menu items that appeal and then google the name of that entree plus san angel inne and click images on the toolbar to see what turns up. I have always enjoyed my meals here (both lunch and dinner). The restaurant's reputation has improved greatly over the past few years and my positive dining experiences have also all been within the past 5 years or so. In general, I would try for an early ADR when the restaurant first opens for a better chance at grabbing a table close to the water. Early ADRs also help lessen the wait until your table is ready. This is one of those restaurants that attracts walk ups and guests looking for last minute cancellations because of the atmosphere. They are in the pyramid for something else and then see the restaurant and want to eat right there. This can lead to lengthy waits for your ADRs if you are looking at post 6 pm ressies. This is compounded on busy nights like Fridays, Saturdays and some Mondays. Good luck!

In April, my 11 yr old just ordered off the kids' menu as the adult menu is just too spicy/different for her. She got a cheese quesadilla/Mexican rice/veggies and she was happy.

My favorite adult entrée is the Chicken Mole. (Don't order if you're allergic to nuts.) It's hard to find a restaurant with a decent Mole sauce up in Massachusetts. I love the Mole at San Angel Inn and end up ordering this dish every time we go here (every other year). DH got the Mexican sampler and liked it. DD15 is still working on finding something she likes off the adult menu--she's not fond of peppers and a lot of the sauces on the adult menus...she should really just ask for no sauce or get a taco off the kids menu.

This is great advice, thank you!! We are having lunch at San Angel In during our October trip and my DD12 and DD14 are not big on the spiciness of the food that is offered here (they love the atmosphere and want to love the food, but it is just too spicy for both of them). They have dined here before and they were complaining that their mouths were on fire (DH and I love this place and don't mind the heat). We originally had ADRs for La Hacienda but then I decided to switch it to San Angel because the more I looked at the menu for La Hacienda, the more I thought that it just wasn't appealing enough for any of us. We will not be on the DDP so, having both my DDs order something off of the kids menu, may help them out....if not, I was figuring they can just get some nachos outside or go to another pavilion to one of their QS restaurants, shoot, F&W is going on while we are there, so they can get something from any one of those kiosks as well :goodvibes.
