San Angel Inn - Can I get a Lunch item for Dinner??

We have never eaten at San Angel Inn so we are going to give it a shot in October. However, is it possible to get an item on the Lunch Menu for Dinner??

The specific item I'm asking about is the.....Tacos Al Carbon - flour tortillas filled with grilled chicken or beef, peppers, onions, guacamole, and sour cream $13.75

I know it's a simple dish and they have all of that stuff on hand and it doesn't take long to make at all....but I'm just wondering if they will let me do that?

Any help is appreciated!!

You probably can. I've ordered lunch items for dinner before but not at San Angel. They're pretty accomodating though.

I am not 100% sure, but I thought that this was not allowed. But this will bump this up for you, so hopefully someone else will know for sure.

I'd call the restaurant directly to ask, if you have specific items in mind. I've done this myself for different restaurants, and it does vary with menu item and restaurant.

You can call the regular ADR number, and ask to be transferred to the restaurant. Good luck!
