San Andreas and other disaster movies

Has anyone seen it? Will its success lead to more of them? Is this a good thing?

I saw it. Loved it. It is exactly what it was advertised to be; a great disaster movie. Actually the family angle and acting by the Rock and family were pretty good. But the special effects were amazing.
